Welcome back to PRO everyone! A few years removed, PRO has been brought back to life and while there are many doubt's concerning the future of PRO, I do believe PRO will be able to continue its success Jesse & company brought it all those years past!
PRO will continue to be a 5 versus 5 carry system [First team to have 5 wins, once you lose your done for the match], and like in the past, many of the rules will be the same, but some new additions have been added on, so be sure to read them all!
As per the tournaments, PRO will be holding 3 each week with points [http://www.pro-interleague.net/tour-standings.php] being kept track of. On Sunday at 5pm is a Rank tournament [All cammed] with a best of 3 finals. Wednesday at 8pm is a Regular 8 [Cam optional] tournament with a best of 3 finals as well. Then on Friday at 5pm is the ever so fun 2 versus 2 [non-mixed, cam is optional] tournament. (Times are tentative for now, please check the site for the final suggested times)
As per the usual pre-season post, the predicted final standings are as such should the 10 teams currently in, finish the season. This is just my prediction, they are made to be enjoyed and proven wrong, best of luck to all teams this season!

#1 - Latino Pool Legends
While LPL are usually regarded as the best team in the non-carry formats, carry formats will only help the team win that much more. With major depth in the LPL roster which now includes an ever so controversial Craig, LPL have too many players who could carry against just about any team here, and that's saying quite a bit. In WPC they were able to showcase their depth with their only loss being a no-show, and while they've lost a few close ones in UIC, the carry format might have changed those results completely. The core of Tino & company have never missed the playoffs in any interleague with their worst season probably last season with a 4th place finish in the Diamond Division of UIC due to only their win/loss ratio, but with everyone else they've added on, LPL will be tough to crack.

#2 - Money in the Bank
Win-less in IPA, and competing in the Emerald Division in UIC, why are they ranked second? Not many know much about MIB apart from being an active league, and while some of us have taken interest in MIB, one man in particular who has will make MIB feared in PRO & MLP. With Pommy leaving XP/PFN, he will be looking to make MIB home until MIB follows the same suit as his old teams [lol?]. With Joey & Ben among many already signed up, Pommy will lead one hell of a squad that will bring back memories of the old TPL days and should take LPL all the way to the wire.

#3 - Xtreme 8 Ball
Ben, James, Dan, Corey, etc., sucks to be an opponent doesn't it? A kick-your-ass-if-we-care team will be sure to take this seriously and try and stick with the top two here. While X8B don't participate in many interleagues, their members sure make one hell of a difference. Freedom & EPC weren't much until they each took half of the X8B team in both IPA & GIT and look at where the two leagues are now! James should lead this squad and has all the material to grab a championship, but he'll have some fierce competition in doing so.

#4 - Magic Pool
Shocker? Nope. They fit in nicely at the four spot. With their current run in the WPC playoffs, their great season barring a few hiccups in UIC, & their current season in GIT shows they can compete universally and with the leagues following not have the most amount of success/expected success in carry interleagues, Chris & company should roll right into a nice finish in the top four with a chance at upsetting some of the major teams. MP has added some good depth, and it will do them well.

#5 - Pool Fiction
They came, they left, XP came, they left, welcome back PFN? Not much more then 6 months removed, PFN returns to the interleague scene in what some have hyped up, but while the core of PFN has gone to XP & back, a few have been lost along the way so Kerry & Sean will lead a softer team, and after missing the playoffs in MLP Fives, that's not a good sign, the only good sign is the fact they are Pool Fiction, and if they can put together what they had over a year ago, Cubby will make sure I know I made a foolery of the word prediction..

#6 - Break n Run
The biggest wild card in the field by far. With players like Luis & Tan as major question marks to their interleague participation, BnR will definitely be hit as both were instrumental in their UIC & IPA runs. BnR has developed a new core and they have shown their strengths at times, but consistency should be their biggest issue.

#7 - Extreme Pool Competitors
Another wild card here as while Jack has some solid players signed up for him, consistency will be they key. EPC by the end of the season usually has issues finding a full team, so if Jack is able to get players who can play 10 weeks through, EPC will make this prediction look silly.

#8 - True Champs
A league on the rebound, Mike & company have found a new core and are slowly rebuilding their interleague prowess but will have a tough time in PRO unless they can land a solid player, or spawn an MVP like they did with Dawn.

#9 - Simply Pool Souls
A quieter league who have been able to take most leagues to the brink will have a tough time closing out the bigger teams in this carry format. While they do have the talent to win 3 out of 5 against most teams, getting 5 in 9 will be a lot tougher for them, but they'll still be capable of doing such.

#10 - Evil Poolerz
A newer league with some friendly members, experience will be their issue. While Rick is experienced and can field a team, the team its self wont be used to the quick step-up in the game play in interleagues. I see EP though as another young UO who learned quickly though so if the league is able to stick around, EP will be a team on the rise in 2010.
