Last weeks results:
Break and Run defeat Miscues 5-3 - Jordy and Ross led the way, Jordy may not be getting the support he was predicted to need but after Ross & himself were able to defeat the best team, does this make them the best team?
Sexy Poolerz defeat Freedom 5-3 - Shocking? Sure. Sexy Poolerz are a legit team in PRO it seems, while Freedom are easily the most inconsistent team out there. Is it even worth predicting them anymore?
Pool Fiction destroy Straight Shots 5-1 - Straight Shots have a lot of players who only have one game, so it isn't a bad assumption to say they brought an entirely new roster to face Pool Fiction, which is unfortunate as it didn't work, at all. Pool Fiction are gaining steam and showing that the new-era players for Kerry can still get it done, PFN style.
Dead Strokes defeat Pool Dragonz 5-4 - Pool Dragonz almost won, but Corey spoiled the party. I really have nothing else to say about this.
MVP Standings?
BNR_xlx_skill_xlx - 7-0
DS_Hockey_Kid - 6-0
FR_Sabre Girl - 5-2
None of the 8 players whom are 0-1 for Straight Shots.
This week:
Monday @ 6pm - Sexy Poolerz @ Straight Shots
Two teams, both in opposite directions from where they should be, shall it change? Sexy Poolerz come into this match having shown they have a solid core of players, who can consistently show. That, is key. Straight Shots has shown this far that it's good to have a super active league so you can play 12 players in 15 player slots. A side note, looking at how Straight Shots actively have 20 people in every interleague tournament, will there ever be a "Straight Shots vs The Others" Interleague match? 15v15 style? Actually 15s too high, SS would win on timers. Luckily there will be no timers here with plenty of players at the ready for both Shelle and Bev, the issue here will be if SS can get the right players to the table, play the match ups right and stay ahead of SP from the gun. This match changed rooms because both teams against each other, at the same time, in WSOP, and I just feel Straight Shots will have there better players around for the double match up, and will be able to manage both matches a lot better then Sexy Poolerz
Prediction - 5-3 Straight Shots in PRO, and 4-2 in WSOP
Monday @ 6pm - Miscues @ Dead Strokes
This equation holds true, an Ant loss = an MC loss. Whether it was an off night for the MC crew or Break and Run were just rolling, MC were fortunate their loss didn't do them any harm in the conference as they continue to stay one game ahead of second place for the top seed. As per Dead Strokes, they're last in their conference, but would be first if they were in the other. Does this mean DS will have no issue against MC? If they can get both Corey and Ashton to show for this match, then a win for them would be of 0 surprise, but otherwise? It'd be tough pickings. It's very rare Ant loses back to back interleague games, and by the looks of it, xlx_nerd.herd_xlx hasn't done the same yet either in his early career. Those two joined by Ben, Safdar, and probably James shouldn't have an issue if the two stars for DS don't show and seeing as how Ashton hasn't played a game in well over a week for DS, MC should be able to bounce back.
Prediction - 5-3 Miscues
Tuesday @ 7pm - Freedom @ Break and Run
Well well, don't you hurt my head Freedom. Break and Run are showing that they are still the class of PRO, well, Jordy is anyways. Jordy has won 47% of their games in this young season, and with Ross by his side they've won a combined 73%, not bad. I earlier asked if it's even worth predicting Freedom anymore with their inconsistency and overall randomness (They're called Fringle in CIP, why... ) it's not hard to bet against Break and Run whom I believe have never lost to Freedom in PRO, are on fire, and with Dina wanting to do nothing more then defeat Freedom any chance she gets, should be no wondering on how this will turn out.
Prediction - 5-1 Break and Run
Thursday @ 7pm - Pool Fiction @ Pool Dragonz
Like the Tuesday match, this could very well be one-sided. Pool Fiction are good, that's simple, no complex equations needed like MC. Kalpz and Brian have been leading the way, with more then enough talent by their side every week. Pool Dragonz though came close last week, but prior to that, weren't close at all. Pool Dragonz have an issue of starting matches off well, which puts them in a hole they can never seem to recover from. They certainly have the talent in Hani, Joe, Drew, DJ and even (yes... even) Pommy to defeat Pool Fiction, but nothing goes according to plan these days does it?
Prediction - 5-3 Pool Fiction
